1. Ask students if they are familiar with the Little Golden Books. If so, have them share their favorite stories.
2. If not, show several examples. Read one to the students that they may not be familiar with or perhaps an “old” favorite.
3. Then, divide the class into groups and ask them to create their own Little Golden Book, story and pictures, to share with students in a lower grade level.
